To lead their flock in love’s true light they’re tasked,
To preach, to teach, to counsel, and to guide.
In love’s commandments they are ever steadfast.
So let us all in love’s embrace abide
And follow where the Scriptures doth provide.

Pastors hold a vital role in the church, entrusted with the spiritual well-being of their congregation. They are tasked with guiding their flock through the teachings of love and righteousness. Their work involves preaching the gospel, teaching biblical truths, offering counsel, and providing guidance in the light of God’s commandments. Pastors are examples of love and humility, shepherding their flocks with compassion and care. They are to teach, admonish, and exhort with patience and sound doctrine, ensuring that the body of believers is built up in love (2 Timothy 4:2).
