Christ Heart for Soul Ministry Inc. is committed to empowering individuals through protection services for women and children both within and outside Liberia, focusing on combating human trafficking, drugs, and substance abuse. Our initiatives aim to create a positive impact in the lives of those affected, providing essential support to orphaned children and people living in extreme poverty in the region. Since 2015, we have developed and implemented a strategic plan dedicated to these objectives, reaching out to vulnerable women and children in Monserrado County, Bong County, Nimba County, and Grand Bassa County.
Our efforts have been met with success, particularly through partnerships with churches, mosques, and community organizations, which have embraced our strategies for support and preventive measures. To ensure that our efforts are making a meaningful and sustainable difference, we continuously evaluate our programs and initiatives. By monitoring and assessing the impact of our activities, we strive to improve and adapt our strategies to better serve individuals and the community. Through this ongoing evaluation process, we aim to enhance our ability to empower and protect those in need, fostering a safe, healthy, and prosperous environment for all. With your support, we can expand our reach and deepen our impact, transforming lives and uplifting communities across Liberia.
Christ Heart for Soul Ministry Inc. has been dedicated to enhancing community well-being through comprehensive programs and initiatives addressing the challenges posed by COVID-19 and HIV/AIDS. Since 2018, the ministry has carried out a Vocational Program aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals of all age groups, particularly in rural towns and cities, with a strong focus on Nimba County. Over the past years, the ministry has reached out to schools, churches, mosques, hospitals, and homes, educating the community on preventive methods through flyers, group discussions, and research.
The program has successfully saved over 50 individuals, including women, girls, and men, providing them with confidential support and guidance. These individuals have shared their stories about how they were affected by the virus, highlighting the importance of the ministry’s efforts. The ongoing training sessions conducted by our dedicated team continue to spread these vital messages to other counties within the Republic of Liberia. We strongly believe that with your support and involvement, we can further our objectives and reach even more people within the community, enhancing their well-being and empowering them with knowledge and resources to combat these health challenges.
Annual Thanksgiving Conference
Since the inception of Christ Heart for Soul Ministry Inc., the leadership, guided by the direction of the Holy Spirit, has dedicated a special day each year for all church members to gather in one place to give thanks to Almighty God for His blessings in the lives of the ministry and its members. This significant event takes place from December 8th to December 10th annually, either at the headquarters or at any selected location or branch.
The Annual Thanksgiving Conference has consistently been a success, with enthusiastic participation from all members and support from our donors. This gathering serves as a time of reflection, celebration, and unity, allowing the entire church community to come together to express gratitude and acknowledge the divine guidance and blessings received throughout the year. The unwavering support and involvement of our members and donors underscore the importance and impact of this cherished event.
In 2015, Christ Heart for Soul Ministry Inc. embarked on a comprehensive pastoral and church leadership training program, targeting not only its pastors but also leaders from other churches. This initiative spans multiple locations, including Kakata in Margibi County, Buchanan in Grand Bassa County, and Christ Community on Guinea Road in Ganta City, Nimba County. Every year, the program successfully brings together 75 leaders for four workshops, providing well-rounded accommodation, including feeding, transportation, and lodging.
The training has been a cornerstone of the ministry’s efforts to enhance leadership and spiritual guidance within the church community. Up to the present in 2024, the ministry has successfully planned and executed these training sessions, ensuring that each participant is well-prepared to lead and serve effectively. The consistent success of these workshops highlights the ministry’s dedication to fostering strong, capable leadership within the church and beyond, significantly impacting the spiritual growth and development of the communities they serve.
Construction of Church Branches and Headquarters
Christ Heart for Soul Ministry Inc. embarked on an ambitious project to construct multiple church branches and a central headquarters, beginning in 2005. The project involved the purchase of 20 acres of land in strategic locations including. 1. Christ Community, Guinea Road, Ganta City, 2. Area “N”Lamco Yekepa Community, 3. Deakehmein Community Ganta City and 3.Teiwea community, Bahn City. These sites were chosen for their potential to serve large congregations and become spiritual hubs for the surrounding communities. While some of these construction projects have been successfully completed, others remain unfinished due to financial shortages and a lack of external support. Despite these challenges, the ministry has made significant progress, particularly with the construction of the church headquarters, which stands as a testament to their dedication and hard work.
The journey has not been without its difficulties, but the ministry has been successful in planning and implementing the majority of its activities. The completion of the church headquarters is a major milestone, providing a central place of worship and administration that supports the ministry’s operations and outreach programs. The partially completed branches continue to serve their communities, and the ministry remains committed to securing the necessary resources to complete these projects. Through perseverance and faith, Christ Heart for Soul Ministry Inc. continues to strive towards its vision of expanding its physical presence and enhancing its impact on the lives of its congregants and the broader community.
Christ Heart for Soul Ministry Inc. Project on Rice Cultivation
Christ Heart for Soul Ministry Inc. embarked on a transformative project of rice cultivation on 32 hectares of land, initiated in 2018. This initiative brought together 50 beneficiaries who were meticulously trained to successfully cultivate rice, equipping them with the necessary skills to sustain themselves and their families. Through this project, the ministry aimed to empower the local community(Tapeta, Ganta, Yekepa) by providing them with practical agricultural knowledge and resources. The beneficiaries, selected from various parts of the community, were given hands-on training and support that occured at the national head quater Christ community, Guinea Road, Ganta, liberia, ensuring they could manage and cultivate rice effectively on their own.
Over the years, the project has yielded significant results, with the ministry being able to harvest 360 bags of rice, each weighing 50 kilograms, annually. This consistent cultivation not only enhances food security in the region but also promotes economic self-sufficiency among the beneficiaries. The annual rice harvest has become a cornerstone of the ministry’s efforts to uplift the community, providing both sustenance and income opportunities. The success of this project underscores the ministry’s commitment to fostering growth and development through sustainable agricultural practices.
